As you know, our 7th and 8th graders have section rehearsals once a week throughout the school year. This is a very important instructional and evaluation time. Students are in smaller groups and able to receive more individual attention specific to their instrument. Band is a curricular activity and attendance will affect the student’s grade.

Sometimes there are special circumstances (holidays, concerts, etc.) when changes might need to be made. These changes will be communicated with your child. We realize that transportation can be a problem for some, but many times car-pooling will solve this.

The following schedule involves grouping students by like instruments while avoiding as many conflicts as possible. Most conflicts have been avoided, but it is impossible to avoid all.
