Connecting an iPod to TV |
To show pictures on the TV with the AV cable you will need to change a setting. Do the following:
Choose Photos from the main menu Choose Slideshow Settings
Scroll down to TV Out

Adding A Counter To Your Website |
The following information is only if you want a free web page counter on one of school web pages.
1. Click on the following address www.123counters.com/
2. Click on "Get your Free Web Counter Now!"
3. Pick the style of counter that you want (those are the actual sizes)
4. Fill out your info
5. Click the Submit button
6. Copy the text
7. Connect to netStart Gold
8. Edit your Home page, or whichever page you want to add the counter to
9. Add another content area
10. Paste into the Content area
11. Save Changes
12. Preview

Connecting LCD Projector to Computer |
1. Connect one of the blue plugs on the cable to the blue port labeled Computer 1 (Component) on the back of the projector.
2. Connect the dongle (white adapter) to the blue plug on the other end of the cable.
3. Plug the dongle into your computer.
4. Connect the power cord to the projector and plug it in.
5. Push the orange Power button on the projector.
6. Adjust the focus and size of the image by turning the rings around the lens.*
7. To turn off the projector, push the Power button twice.
8. When the orange light by the power button is no longer flashing and is solid orange, disconnect the cable and unplug the power cord. (This allows the lamp to cool and lengthens the life of the bulb.)
9. Return projector, cable, cord and dongle to case.
*If the computer image does not automatically show up when connecting the computer to the projector...
o Under the Apple in the left top corner, select System Preferences.
o Click Displays.
o Click the Arrangement tab.
o Make sure that Mirror Displays box is checked.
o Close all the windows.

How to Burn a CD of pictures in iPhoto |
1. In iPhoto, select the album or albums you want to burn to disc.
2. Choose File > Export.
3. Click the File Export button at the top of the Export Photos dialog.
4. In the File Export pane, change the desired options:
Format: Choose a file format for your exported images from the Format pop-up menu. (Depending on the source of the images, you may want to choose JPG to ensure compatibility.)
Size: If necessary, scale images to a specific size by specifying a maximum width and height.
Name: Choose whether to export photos with their filenames, iPhoto titles, or album name. Be sure to select the "Use extension" checkbox to add the file format extensions (such as ".jpg" or ".tiff") to the end of the photos' filenames, titles, or album names.
5. Click Export.
6. Choose a location for the photos you are exporting, then click OK.
7. When the export is finished, quit iPhoto.
8. Click the Finder icon in the Dock and insert a CD-RW disc or a blank CD-R or DVD-R disc into your drive.
9. Drag the folder that contains your exported photos onto the disc's icon.
10. When the files have finished copying, choose File > Burn Disc, and then click Burn. |
