    Mrs. Sandra Arguijo
Our children are our future!
Who Is Mrs. Arguijo?
Hi! My name is Sandy Arguijo. I teach 3rd grade here at Naumann Elementary. I received my degree in Elementary Education and Generic Special Education in 1985 from Texas Woman's University. My goals include differentiating the curriculum. This means that I try to customize instruction to the learner's needs. I teach the third grade curriculum based on a historical timeline that I created. This makes it easier for kids to continuously make connections. I have taught all subjects including Accelerated Math. This year I will be teaming with Mrs. Jackson. I will be teaching Math, P.A.C.E. Math and Social Studies. Students are involved in producing various projects to depict what they are learning.
LegoRobotics is a project that I'm implementing with my homeroom class. Students learn engineering and programming. I also allow all my students to have opportunities in producing what they are learning with regular legoes. I hope to continue my afterschool Lego Club for students owning a Lego Kit. Students also have opportunities to enhance their skills in the use of technology.
R.O.P.E.S. is a teambuilding program that I'm involved in. I am Low and High Ropes certified. At the elementary level, cooperative type games are integrated throughout the curriculum.
I love to teach and firmly believe that All Children Can Learn! I provide the opportunties in my classroom to challenge the students to their potentials so he/she Can Be the Best They Can Be!
