Which textbooks do I need? |
So how exactly do you know which textbook to order for your ACC dual-credit course? Well, you have two options:
A) Wait until the first day of class to find out from the professor, or
B) Check out the ACC bookstore website, where you can look up your exact class and find out which textbook to buy:

Textbooks: buying, renting, or scholarships |
You can always go to the ACC bookstore in person or order from their website. You can purchase textbooks from other websites like Amazon.com, or new sites that let you rent textbooks such as www.chegg.com
TEXTBOOK SCHOLARSHIP: If you have financial need, please see Mrs. Spradling for information on how to receive a scholarship to help pay for your textbook through the Leander Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF) |

How do I know which courses will transfer? |
ACC provides this helpful chart that identifies which courses match up with courses at other universities around Texas: www.austincc.edu/support/admissions/documents/eqguide.pdf
If the university you plan to attend isn't on this chart, it is best to contact their offices to determine what will transfer (and what won't). |

NEED TO FIND A CLASS? |
Check out the course offerings posted by semester using the ACC online course schedule:
www3.austincc.edu/schedule/
Be sure to note class location, day of week, and time, not to mention whether it is "distance learning" or "classroom" and how many weeks -- 16? 12? 8? 5? Know the start date! |
