Ms. Castillo,
You have always been my favorite teacher and I hate to see you leave. When I found out you were leaving I was pretty bummed but it didn't really hit home until I came home from school Friday. I had a lot of time to think and it really started to set in on the bus that Friday was the last time I will ever be in your class. I am not good at xpressing emotion and I usually try to keep them bottled up but this has impacted me so much that I am too bummed to do much of anything. I will be stopping by Tuesday to say my final goodbye. I signed up for your email list so maybe we can keep in contact. I just wanted you to know that no other teacher has ever made me feel so bummed to be out of their class and that you have made an everlasting impact on my life.
