Math Tests |
Tests will be 50% of your child's grade in Math. Using Study Links and looking in the math journal will help them find examples of problems to study. Also, there may be study reviews sent home. | | |

Math Problem Solving |
Problem Solving will be 25% of your child's grade in Math. This includes some Math Boxes, various skills maintenances, class problem solving activites and D.O.M. (daily oral math) exercises. | | |

Math Homework |
Homework will count for 25% of your child's grade in Math. They will have math homework every night and it will be corrected in class daily. A weekly homework grade will be taken on Friday. | | |

Science Work |
All science work will count equally except tests, which will count for a double grade. There will be study guides for tests and they will also focus a lot on vocabulary. Experiments in class will expand on and support Science TEKS and our class tests. | | |

Late Work and Failing Grades |
Late work will be counted 10 points off per day that it is late. Students will be expected to complete all late work. Test grades below 70% can be retaken for up to a 70%. Other failing assignments can be retaken for up to a 70% depending on teacher choice. | | |

Progress Reports |
You will receive a progress report every three weeks. It will either be a report card or a progress report to be signed and returned to the teacher. | | |
