Welcome to our third grade class. We are the cuddly koalas! My name is Suzy Collums and this is my fifth year as a third grade teacher at Naumann Elementary. Previously, I taught third grade for two years in the Klein Independent School District. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.

My goals for this year consist of making each child feel comfortable and successful at school and with their learning. I am going to reach each child's individual needs by teaching in many different styles and having the kids make some choices in their evaluations and assignments. I am looking forward to teaching the children more than just academics. I want to prepare them socially and emotionally for their upcoming years in school, and hopefully they can take some lessons learned with them throughout their lives. Let's have a great year!!
