View The Finder Window by Icon, List, and Column View |

To open a Finder window, click on the Finder icon in the Dock or go to File-New Finder
To create a new folder, go to File-New Folder.
To move a file from one folder to another, drag the file.
To move a file to a folder within other folders, drag it over a folder and pause a second.
The folder opens, and you can drag the file into another folder inside the first folder.

A. Click the leftmost button to close the window. Click the middle button to minimize the window into the Dock. Click the rightmost button to expand or contract the window. Click the arrows under these buttons to see the contents of the window you viewed previously.
B. Click to see the contents of the window as icons, in a list, or in columns.
C. Click to hide the toolbar, which contains all the items across the top of the Finder window.
D. Search for items by typing the name of the item in the search box.
E. Drag here to resize the window.
F. Click a disk or folder name in the Sidebar to see its contents. You can drag items into the Sidebar for easy access.
