STAR Reading is a reading test and database to assess student reading levels. |

The student portion of STAR Reading is now WEB-BASED. |

When a student logs in to Ren Place they will now have the option of taking a STAR Reading test (if the class has been assigned to STAR Reading). |
|

|
- Click on Take a Test under STAR Reading
- Click on the Start button
- The practice test will begin.
- The mouse is not used in STAR Reading. Students must use the numeric keys on the keyboard.
- If the practice test is completed successfully, the real test will begin.
- At the end of the test, the student will be automatically logged out of Ren Place.

Teachers use the web-based interface to Renaissance Place to run STAR Reading reports. |
|
|
|
|
|
- Login to Renaissance Place.
- Scroll down to the STAR Reading portion.
- Click on Reports.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- To run the Reports for your whole class with the default settings, click on the report name.
- To run the report on select students or to change some settings, click on the Customize link next to the desired report.
