Technology Guide
1. How to Login:
- Your username is: firstname_lastname. (ie: amy_bray)
- Your password is:
- Students will log in the same way using their names.
- K-3 Password is:
- 4-5 Password is student id number (can be found in gradespeed or attendance
To change your password:
- Click on System Preferences in your dock
- Click on Accounts
- Enter your old password and then the new one

2. How to access email. (Also known as webmail or Groupwise)

3. Attendance
- The link to access the attendance page can be found on you’re campus homepage.
- User ID: DLNXX###
- XX designates campus
- ### Personal 3-digit teacher number-Check with your registrar for this number.
- District: 246913
- Enter your attendance under 2nd period, which is your homeroom.
- Once you have successfully posted the attendance, you will not be able to change any data.
- If you believe an absence has been posted in error, please contact your registrar.
- After 90 days of use, your password will expire, and you will need to create a new one, or you may wish to change your password. If your password has expired, a screen message indicates that you need to enter a new password.
- Use the Change Password link when you need to change your password. You will be prompted to change your password when it is close to the expiration.
- If you forget your password, please contact a technology facilitator.
- No activity for 60 minutes will automatically end a session. ALWAYS be sure to LOG OFF the Attendance program

9. Campus Webpage/Netstart Gold: The instructional technology facilitator for pod will create a webpage for you. You will also be trained on how to update your webpages.

10. Gradespeed
- Once the student names are imported into the database, we will train you on gradespeed.

11. Basic Troubleshooting:
- Restart Your computer
- If you are in an application that freezes, press “OPTION+APPLE+ESC” keys and force quit the application. Restart the application. OS X users can choose Apple and then Force Quit from the finder menu bar to force quit an application.
- Check that all cords and cables are connected securely. We recommend that you unplug everything and then plug everything back in!!!
- If a webpage will not load or you can’t access your email, check with your neighbor to see if they are able to access the Internet.
