Hi! I'm Teri King and I am a teacher in the Math Department at Cedar Park High School. I am teaching Geometry and Pre AP Pre-Calculus. I am a graduate of Texas Tech University and taught in Lubbock and Wichita Falls before moving to Austin. I taught math at Westwood High School for six years before staying home with my small children. I managed to stay busy tutoring and even teaching pre-school!

Now that the kids are older, one is even in college, at Texas Tech, I am very glad to be back in the math classroom. Cedar Park High School is such a great school, I am thrilled to be a part of it!

Geometry is a course about geometric figures and their properties. Using reasoning, students will prove statements about geometric figures. Students identify, analyze, solve, and describe two and three dimensional figures.

Pre AP Pre-Calculus students build on algebraic skills and connects ideas to geometry and trigonometry. We will use trig ratios, formulas, and identities to solve application problems and prepare them for Calculus.
