Welcome Farm Friends! I am Mrs. Mayes and am so excited to have you in my class! This year is going to be great! We will be learning our letters and sounds and new math concepts!

This is my 12th year to teach. I graduated from Baylor University in 1989 with a B.S. in Elem. Ed. with a specialization in Reading.
We have not always lived in Austin, but Dallas and Houston as well. I have a wonderful husband, Scott and two great kids. Michael is in 8th grade and Macie is in 5rd grade.
Thank you to all the wonderful parents who have given of their time and resources to help our classroom! I believe in a solid partnership between home and school.
