On January 19-21, the Ridge Cheer Competition Team traveled to Galveston to compete in the Cheer Power National Competition. The girls had great performances both Saturday and Sunday and came in 2nd place in their division!! Vista Ridge also received the Level 4 Showmanship Award! Way to go ladies!! We are very proud of you!

On December 8th, the Ridge Cheer Competition Team traveled to Houston to compete in the Cheer Power Holiday Championship. The team had an excellent showing and won 1st place in the Varsity Level 4 division. Great Job Ridge Cheer!!

The Vista Ridge Cheerleaders attended the Cheer America Holiday Championship on December 1st and truly represented Vista Ridge well. They had a great performance and took 1st place in their division. Way to go girls!

The Vista Ridge Cheerleaders competed in the Cheer America National Cheer Bowl this weekend in Houston.

After a great performance the first day of competition, the girls were sitting in first place ahead of the 2007 National Champion team. We were leading by 0.9 points (out of 10)!! The girls needed to perform a PERFECT routine on Sunday to hold the lead and take the title. On Sunday, the music stopped during the dance and the girls didn't even miss a beat! They kept going in SILENCE and finished in unison yelling "RANGERS"!! Spectators from other gyms and schools were yelling for our girls and coming up to parents telling them how "amazing" we were!! They truly pulled together and finished strong with ONE heartbeat just like we asked them to! As a result of their flawless performance, the girls brought home the first-ever NATIONAL CHAMPION TITLE for Vista Ridge Cheerleading!! We are so proud of them for all of their hard work!!
