CHAINS ARE AN IMPORTANT PHASE
AS THE CHAIN GOES DOWN ONTO THE FLOOR THE WEIGHT DECREASES
THIS ALSO PREVENTS A BREAKDOWN IN FORM AND KEEPS THE CHEST PLACEMENT CONSISTENT ON THE BENCH/INCLINE. ON THE SQUAT IT KEEPS THE CORE RIGID AND THE BACK SOLID. DURING THE LATER PART OF PHASE 2 (POWER PHASE WITH CHAINS), WE DO NOT WANT TO LOSE ALL WE LEARNED DURING PHASE 1 (MUSCULAR ENDURANCE AND FORM PHASE). THIS WILL ALSO HELP REINFORCE THE MUSCLE MEMORY FOR PHASE 3.
PROMOTING GROUND BASED POWER
AS THE LIFTER EXECUTES THE LIFT THE CHAIN ADDS WEIGHT TO THE LIFT. THIS WILL PROMOTE EXPLOSIVE LIFTING.
