Public Speaking 2008-9
Public Speaking students will learn the concepts and skills related to preparing and presenting public messages in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Public Speaking is intended first as a vehicle to enhance communication skills, research strategies, and critical thinking skills. These essential tools will assist the student in achieving academic, social, and professional success throughout the years.

Students will analyze and evaluate the messages of others. Within this process, students will gain skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking and will examine areas such as organization, style, memory, and delivery.
